Our Programs
Community Care
Serves individuals or families who are unhoused or at risk of losing their housing. We work collaboratively with Mission Southside and can access resources designed to meet critical needs, such as food, basic hygiene supplies, diapers, clothing, and household items. The focus of Community Care is on building caring relationships and inviting people into our community. A monthly potluck called Come to the Table is offered that includes everyone from our community and provides a great opportunity to build relationships.
Mentorship
Offers individualized support to those connected through Community Care who desire to work towards personal goals. Often these goals are connected with employment and housing and mentors can provide guidance and encouragement. as steps are being taken to move towards greater self-sufficiency. Often times people have experienced personal trauma that has contributed to current challenges. While mentors are not trained counselors, they can provide spiritual encouragement and support through the healing process.
Supporting Housing
In collaboration with Mission Southside, Community Care serves individuals and families who are struggling with homelessness or are at-risk of becoming homeless and centers on developing authentic relationships that extend beyond just meeting the most immediate needs and providing resources.
